Gear up for a colourful, ink-splattering treasure hunt in Splatoon Raiders for Nintendo Switch 2. This single-player-focused Splatoon adventure puts you in the role of the Mechanic, who joins the musical pirate trio Deep Cut after an emergency landing leaves the crew stranded on the mysterious Spirhalite Islands. Explore the islands, uncover their secrets, collect valuable treasure, and search for a way back home.

Set out from the Hideout Ship on action-packed raids through tropical beaches, volcanic mountain ranges, underground dungeons, and other distinctive environments. Each expedition challenges you to battle waves of Salmonids, gather salvage, discover hidden rewards, and return with materials that can be used to improve your equipment and upgrade the crew’s ship.

Build a combat setup that matches your preferred playstyle using a broad selection of ink-powered weapons, mechanical gadgets, and specialised tanks. The game includes 11 weapon categories and more than 100 weapon variations to discover, with different benefits such as increased range or improved ink efficiency. Choose between Speed, Power, and Tactical tanks, then upgrade them with Skill Points and equip Relic Powers for additional bonuses.

Deep Cut members Shiver, Frye, and Big Man accompany the Mechanic during raids through powerful Exploration Bots. Each character provides a distinctive Showstopper ability that can help clear large groups of enemies, break through difficult encounters, or turn the battle in your favour.

Face regular Salmonids, challenging Boss Salmonids, and tougher Seasoned Salmonids while searching for valuable loot. Players can select Tourist, Raider, or Survivalist difficulty and change the combat difficulty during the adventure without affecting the quality of available rewards.

Although designed around a single-player adventure, Splatoon Raiders also supports cooperative raids with up to four players through online play or local wireless. Join another player’s mission, request assistance before starting a difficult raid, and earn Help Bonuses such as weapons, gadget parts, and crafting materials for successfully supporting other raiders.

Compatible Splatoon amiibo figures can also be scanned to unlock additional outfits for the Mechanic. Amiibo figures are sold separately.
